Established in 1976, the National Federation of Pensioners Associations (NFPA) has twenty Pensioners Associations, including ARCOIreland, currently affiliated to it. These represent in the region of 29,000 pensioners. The Federation includes Pensioners from the Public Service, Semi-State Bodies and from Private Industry.
