ARCO regrets to inform its members of the death of Commandant Thomas (Tony) White of Saint Joseph’s Park, Nenagh, County Tipperary and late of Ballyforan, Ballinasloe, County Roscommon. On May 10th 2022, peacefully, at home, in the presence of his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Dan and Kathleen (Reenie) White and his sister Joanne. Beloved husband of Pauline and loving father of Philip, Paul, Christopher, and Ciara. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family, his brothers and sisters, Danny, Pat, Tina, Kathryn, Paula, Tracey, David, Mark and Sandra, son-in-law Colin, daughters-in-law Barbara, Lorraine and Bina, his adored grandchildren, Saoirse, Caoimhe and Sophia, Aunt Phil, extended family, neighbours, former Defence Forces colleagues and friends.

Tony joined the Defence Forces as an apprentice at the Army Apprentice School, Devoy Barracks, Naas, County Kildare. As an Ordnance Corps NCO he completed third level studies and was commissioned as a Technical Officer. Tony served in Athlone, and was Ordnance Officer 69 Infantry Battalion UNIFIL from May to October 1991.
Reposing on Thursday at Keller’s Funeral Home, Nenagh (E45 XO94), from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral leaving his home on Friday at 2pm, to arrive at Saint Mary of the Rosary Church, Nenagh for Funeral Mass at 2.30pm, followed by burial in Lisboney Cemetery.
