ARCOIreland regrets to inform its members of the death of Lieutenant Colonel Michael (Mick) Gaffney. On October 19th 2013 unexpectedly at home in Montenotte Park. Dearly loved husband of Betty (nee Mulcahy) and loving father of Michael, Pat and Evelyn. Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, sister Beatrice, son in-law Kevin, daughters in-law Ruth and Yolanda, grandchildren Aisling, Eoin, Orla, Joseph and Áine, brother in-law Michael, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Lying in repose at the Coburg Street Funeral Home of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. Rosary followed by removal at 7pm on Tuesday to St. Joseph’s Church, Mayfield. Requiem mass on Wednesday at 11am. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully. Donations, in lieu of flowers, to St. Vincent de Paul.
