RIP

ARCOIreland regrets to inform its members of the deaths of two of our comrades:

Lieutenant Colonel Paul Brownen, Clontarf and Palm Harbour, Florida, on 4th September 2016 after an illness borne with courage and good humour. Cherished husband of Pauline, adored and loving father of John and Sarah. Paul will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughter, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, Army Comrades, neighbours and his many friends, especially those in Clontarf GAA Club.

Removal on Wednesday morning to St. Gabriel’s Church, Dollymount arriving at 11.50 o’clock for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to Fingal Cemetery. House Private. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to St. Francis Hospice, Raheny.

Major General Kevin Duffy, Dysart Grove, Youghal, Cork and Monkstown, Dublin, on 4th September 2016, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the Bons Secours hospital Cork. Beloved husband of the late Alice (nee O Neill) and loving dad of Kieran, Brian, Aine and Catherine. Sadly missed by his loving family, his sister Hilda (Conroy), grandchildren Alan, Maureen, Juliette, and Oran, daughters in law, sons in law, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Egan’s funeral home Greencloyne Youghal from 5.30pm Tuesday with Removal at 7pm to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, The Strand Youghal. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am. Funeral afterwards to North Abbey Cemetery Youghal. House private. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Irish Heart Foundation.
