ARCOIreland regrets to inform its members of the death of Commandant Michael (Mick) O’Byrne, of Whitehall Road, Terenure, Dublin and late of Greenane, Co. Wicklow on Tuesday, 9th August 2016. Peacefully, after a long debilitating illness in the wonderful care of Lisheen Nursing Home, Rathcoole. Beloved husband of Gerardine and adored father of Patrick, Tara, Michael and Deirdre. Very sadly missed by his loving family, daughter-in-law Elfrida, sons-in-law John and Mark, grandchildren Miko, Matthew and Aoife, sisters Joan Cassidy and Bernadette Cornish, brothers Sylvester, Fr Paddy, Sean, Kevin, Eugene and Gerard, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his brother Peter.

Prayers at 4.30 pm at Lisheen Nursing Home, Rathcoole on Friday afternoon (12 August) prior to his removal to the Church of the Holy Spirit, Kimmage Manor arriving at 6 pm. Funeral on Saturday morning (13 August) after 11.30 am Mass to Greenane Cemetery, Co. Wicklow arriving at approximately 2.30 pm.
