ARCOIreland regrets to inform its members of the death of Colonel Phelim Connolly, a member of 20 Cadet Class (1946-1948), of Coolmine Woods, Dublin 15, on October 30th, 2019. Peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at Our Lady’s Manor Nursing Home, Dalkey. Beloved husband of the late Ena (Philomena) and dear father of John, Mary, Phelim, Niall and Patricia and a devoted grandfather to his ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, sisters Betty and Mary, brothers Jim and Brendan, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and his many friends.

Reposing at his son John’s home in Terenure on Friday evening, November 1st, between 5 pm and 8 pm. Removal on Saturday morning, November 2nd, to Saint Brigid’s Church, Blanchardstown, arriving for Requiem Mass at 10 am followed by burial in Rooske Cemetery, Dunboyne.
