RIP

ARCO regrets to inform its members of the death of Captain Thomas Edward (Eddie) McNulty, Clonard Lawns, Sandyford Road, Dublin and formerly of Ballydevitt, County Donegal. On April 30th, 2025, at Saint Vincent’s University Hospital. Husband of Vera and much-loved father of Dennis, Edward and James. Eddie will be forever missed by his sons, their partners Maeve, Rebecca and Nicole, grandsons Frank and Tom, his sister Peggy, nieces, nephews, all his other relatives, neighbours, Defence Forces comrades and many friends.

Eddie McNulty enlisted in the Defence Forces in 1958 and trained as a radio mechanic with the Signal Corps. He served with 4 Field Signal Coy, Athlone as an NCO. Overseas Eddie saw service with the United Nations, in the Congo with ONUC, and in Cyprus with UNFICYP. He was selected as a member of 3 Potential Officers Course and was commissioned in 1976. As an officer he served with 2 Field Signal Company in Collins Barracks, Dublin. Eddie retired in 1982 to take up a position with the Electricity Supply Board.

Reposing in Fanagan’s Funeral Home, Willbrook, Rathfarnham on Tuesday 6th May 2025 from 5pm to 7pm. Service in Mount Jerome Victorian Chapel at 2.30pm on the afternoon of Wednesday the 7th of May 2025. Link to the service is at: https://www.mountjerome.ie/victorian-chapel-service/
