Comdt Aidan O’Reilly RIP

RIP

ARCO regrets to inform its members of the death of a serving officer of Óglaigh na hÉireann, Commandant Aidan O’Reilly (82 Cadet Class 2005-2007) of Courtbrack, Blarney, Cork and formerly of Clara, County Offaly. On January 27th, 2024, unexpectedly. Dearly beloved husband of Ann (née Daly), adored son of Joseph and Helen, loving brother of Richella, Neill and Commandant Rory (80 Cadet Class 2003-2005), much loved uncle of Molly, Joseph, Elsie Mae, Calla Rose, and Daniel.

 Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife and family, parents-in-law Hugh and Dympna, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues in the Defence Forces, relatives, neighbours, and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road, Cork of Jerh O’Connor Limited on Wednesday (January 31st) from 3.00pm to 4.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon on Thursday (February 1st) in Saint Brigid’s Church, Clara, County Offaly which will be live streamed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mt8i1E0RbTk

Funeral afterwards to the Monastery Cemetery, Clara, County Offaly.
