ARCO regrets to inform its members of the death of Reverend Father Patrick Daly, Braganza, Carlow, and late of The Curragh and Naas, County Kildare. Died 15th March 2023, in the wonderful care of the staff of Craddock House Nursing Home, Naas. Predeceased by his parents James and Elizabeth, brothers Shay and Kevin, and sister-in-law Mary.
Deeply missed by his sister-in-law, Anne, nieces and nephews, his cousins Elma and Anna and extended family, neighbours, Bishop Denis Nulty and the priests of the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin, the parishioners of Cooleragh and Staplestown County Kildare and Bennekerry County Carlow, and Defence Forces colleagues and friends.

Fr Daly served as a Chaplain to the Forces in the Curragh Command and overseas in Lebanon as Chaplain to 48 Infantry Battalion UNIFIL from November 1980 to April 1981. He was a brother of Colonel Kevin Daly, a former Director of Signals.
Body Donated to Medical Research, University College, Dublin.
