Capt. Diarmuid Dineen RIP

ARCOIreland regrets to inform its members of the death of Captain Diarmuid Dineen of Glenview, Leap, County Cork and Grove Cottage, Fermoy, County Cork. On December 19th, 2018 peacefully, after a long illness borne with great dignity, surrounded by his loving wife and family, in the wonderful care of the staff at Marymount University Hospice, Cork.

Beloved husband of Mary (née Lordan, Ballineen) and devoted father of Eolann, Clara and Harry. Sadly missed by his heart broken wife Mary and family, brothers Paud, Colm and the late Tadgh, sisters Norma, Bena and Sharon, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, father-in-law, mother-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces and a wide circle of friends.

Diarmuid was a member of 64 Cadet Class 1987-1989 and 22 Air Corps Young Officers Course 1989-1990. He worked for Aer Lingus after retiring from the Defence Forces.

May he rest in peace

Reposing privately at his home on Friday, 21st December.  Reception into Saint Fachtna’s Church, Glandore, on Saturday, December 22nd, from 11.00am. Requiem Mass at 1.00pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to Marymount.
