Elections

ARCO’s Officers, Regional Representatives, Trustees and Honorary Auditor were unanimously elected for the coming 12 months. For appointees see the overview of the AGM. The President congratulated Brig Gen Séamus Ó Giolláin on his election as the incoming President.

The President welcomed the newly elected Regional Representatives: Col Eamon Caulfield (West), Capt Oonagh Maher (South) and Lt Col John Kirke (Air Corps).  He paid tribute to Col Gerry McNamara who retired in November and to Capt Ray Bonar who retired at the AGM.

The election of eight new members to the EXCOM at the 2020 AGM, and 3 new members at the 2021 AGM, including a female representative, has resulted in a 64% turn-over of the committee and reflects one of the primary outcomes from ARCO’s 2019 Relevance Workshop.
