Pensions Section of the Department of Defence has contacted ARCO to confirm that the December payment date for Military Pensions is Friday 19th December 2025.
The date for the January 2026 pension payment has not yet been finally agreed with NSSO, but the proposed date is Friday January 30th, 2026.
For members’ general information, the monthly pensions payroll is normally paid by EFT into pensioners’ bank etc. accounts on the 30th of the month, in arrears, and if the 30th falls on a weekend or bank holiday, payment is made on the previous working day.
