ARCOIreland regrets to inform its members that Lieutenant General David (Dave) Francis Stapleton DSM, former Chief of Staff of the Defence Forces, died peacefully at his home on Monday, 13 June 2016 with his family by his side.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Maureen, son David, daughters Jennifer, Barbara and Aimee, sons in law Eamon, Seamus and Brendan, daughter in law Regina, his 10 grandchildren whom he adored, his sister Nessa, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at his family home on Wednesday 15 Jun from 16:00 until conclusion of prayers at 20:00. Funeral on Thursday, 16 June after 11:00 Mass in St Conleth’s Parish Church, Newbridge.
