ARCOIreland regrets to inform its members of the death of Lieutenant Colonel Michael J. (Mick) Harrington of Coinnle Corra, Killowen Road, Kenmare, County Kerry. Peacefully at home on Friday 22 June 2018. Sadly missed by his loving wife Peggie, daughter Anne, son Colonel Denis Harrington DSM, son-in-law Denis, daughter-in-law Connie, grandchildren Mairéad, Denis, Michael, Ciara, Aoife and Alan, great grand-daughter Grace, sister Noreen, sisters-in-law Kitt and Sheila, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends. Mick was a member of 23 Cadet Class (1949 to 1951) and had a long association with the Southern Command.

Reposing at Finnegan’s Funeral Home Kenmare. Rosary at 9pm on Saturday. Reposing on Sunday from 5pm with removal at 7pm to Holy Cross Church, Kenmare. Requiem Mass at 11am on Monday – followed by burial in Old Kenmare Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to St. Vincent de Paul.
