ARCOIreland regrets to inform its members of the death of Lieutenant Colonel Michael (Mick) Meaney of Boherard, Naas Road, Newbridge, County Kildare, a member of 22 Cadet Class (1949/1951). On 22nd December 2017, peacefully, in the tender care of the staff of Oghill Nursing Home. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Elizabeth, daughters Mary-Clare and Elizabeth, son Mark, brother Ambrose, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Anderson & Leahy’s Funeral Home, Newbridge on Tuesday (St. Stephen’s Day) from 4 pm until 6.30 pm with prayers at 6 pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.30 am to arrive at St. Conleth’s Parish Church, Newbridge for Mass at 11 am. Funeral afterwards to St. Conleth’s Cemetery, Kildare Town.
