ARCOIreland regrets to inform its members of the death of Lieutenant Commander Eugene Furniss of Stillorgan, Dublin and late of Cobh, Co. Cork on February 26th 2013. Peacefully at the Blackrock Clinic. Beloved husband of the late Joan (nee d’Estelle Roe), loving father of Margot, Tony, Owen, Carol, Colin, Noel and brother of Seamus (Bro Anthony – de la Salle). Sadly missed by his sons, daughters, brother, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, relatives and friends. Grandfather of the late Captain Derek Furniss, Air Corps.
Reposing at the Larry Massey Funeral Home, Eden Centre, Grange Road, Rathfarnham. Removal this Friday to the Church of St. Laurence O’Toole, Kilmacud, arriving for 5pm. Funeral on Saturday after 10am Mass to Mount Jerome Crematorium. No flowers by request please.
