Phillip Quinlan, a member of the ARCO Excom, will undertake a series of challenges each day from 1st to 11th November in parallel with his Ernst & Young colleagues in the United Kingdom who will be raising funds for veterans’ groups as part of their Remembrance Day initiative. Phillip will post short videos and updates each day as he takes on each challenge and is hoping to beat his target of €1,000.
All proceeds will go to the Organisation of National Ex-Service Personnel (https://www.one-veterans.org/). As ARCO members will be aware, ONE’s services are available to all veterans of the Irish Defence Forces, and it also facilitate homeless veterans from other countries living in Ireland from time to time. ONE provides accommodation to veterans, who would otherwise be homeless, and has also created a nationwide network of Veteran’s Support Centres which provide a variety of support services and access to resources.
