ARCO regrets to inform its members of the death of Commandant Margaret (Peggy) Flanagan (née Dunne) of Tallaght, County Dublin and formerly of Ballymore Eustace, County Kildare. At Kiltipper Woods Care Centre on 27th June 2021 peacefully, in the tender care of the staff. Beloved wife of the late Peter and loving Mum to Seámus and Oisín. Margaret will be sadly missed by her family, sisters Aileen and Monica, her grandchildren Ronga and Arwen, extended family, Defence Forces colleagues and friends.
Rest in Peace
Peggy was a much-respected Medical Officer in the Defence Forces and served in the Military Hospital, Curragh, County Kildare and in Saint Bricin’s Military Hospital, Dublin.
Due to Government advice regarding public gatherings, a private family funeral took place on Friday, 8th July 2021.
