The following are the details of the late Commandant Patrick (Paddy) Boyle, of Rush, County Dublin whose passing, on 14th November 2023, we regretfully missed.
Paddy was the brother of the late Moya, and is sadly missed by his loving wife Vera, children Eoin and Cara, son-in-law Leslie, daughter-in-law Joanne, grandchildren Stephen, Sean, Robert, Liam, Max and Sam, sister Una, extended family, Defence Forces comrades, and friends.

Paddy Boyle was born on 24th July 1945 and completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree following his secondary school education. He was commissioned into the Defence Forces on 3rd March 1970 and was posted to the Ordnance Corps, where he served in a variety of appointments. He completed the 5th Ordnance Officers Course and the Command and Staff Course. Overseas Paddy served in Southern Lebanon with UNIFIL.
