ARCOIreland regrets to inform its members of the death of Commandant Hugh O’Donnell of Greystones, County Wicklow and formerly of The Curragh, County Kildare. Late of the Air Corps and Aer Lingus. On September 11th 2018, unexpectedly, surrounded by his loving family, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, after a very short illness. Beloved husband to Trish (née Bateman) and much-loved Dad of Shane, Rachel and Brian. Grandad of Connor, Ronan, Jack and Adam. He will be sadly missed by his son-in-law Dave and Natasha (Shane’s partner), extended family and his very wide circle of friends. Loving brother of Grainne Beary, the late Austin O’Donnell and Monica Galavan.

Hugh was a member of 37 Cadet Class (1962-1964) and a proud native of The Curragh.
Reposing in Doyle’s Funeral Home, Kilcoole, County Wicklow on Friday September 14th from 2pm to 8pm. Arriving Holy Rosary Church Greystones, on Saturday September 15th for 10am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Redford Cemetery, Greystones. Family flowers only, please.
