Comdt. Harry Anderson RIP

ARCOIreland regrets to inform its members of the death of Commandant Harry Anderson of Naas Road, Newbridge, County Kildare, peacefully, on 1st August 2018. Sadly missed by his brothers Colman and Patrick, sisters Bridie and Esther, sister-in-law Margaret, brother-in-law John, nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Harry was a member of 36 Cadet Class (1961-1962) and won an All Ireland Minor Football Medal with his native Galway in 1960. He served in the Curragh for many years, in Defence Forces Headquarters and with 27 Infantry Battalion. He served overseas with UNFICYP (Cyprus), UNTSO (Middle East) and UNIFIL (Lebanon).

Reposing at Anderson & Leahy’s Funeral Home, Newbridge on Friday from 4 pm with prayers at 7 pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.30 am to arrive at the Dominican College Church for Mass at 11 am. Funeral afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Grantstown Daycare Centre, Wexford.
