ARCOIreland regrets to inform its members of the death of Captain Fachtna Young, late of Ballybrack, County Dublin and formerly of Dunmanway, West Cork on December 15, 2018 (peacefully) in Annabeg Nursing Home. Beloved husband of both the late Pat and Elisa, loving father of Patrice, Liam, James, Sean, Ceada, Annemarie and Giselle. Sadly missed by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Fachtna was a member of the Air Corps 4th Young Officers Course 1948-1950.
Reposing on Tuesday in Quinn’s of Glasthule from 5pm to 7pm. Removal Wednesday to St. Anne’s Church, Shankill for 10am Funeral Mass followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross. No flowers please.
