The November 2021 military pensions have been lodged in personal accounts. However, ARCO has contacted the Payroll Contact Centre of the National Shared Service Office (NSSO) in relation to the delay in the delivery of the associated payroll slips.
The Association has been advised by the NSSO that the Military Pension payslips were printed and provided to An Post, as per the agreed schedule, for the pay date of 30 November 2021.
An Post has advised the NSSO that the delivery delay is due to the high volumes of post passing through its sorting office in Athlone. This has impacted on the delivery of some post. An Post collected the payslips on Monday, 29 November 2021 and these will be delivered over the coming days.
National Shared Service Office
While Finance Branch of the Department of Defence is responsible for the administration of Military Pensions, the National Shared Service Office is responsible for the circulation of pension payslips by email or post . Their contact details for Military Retirees are as follows:
