Brigadier General Howard Berney, the General Officer Commanding 2 Brigade, retires from the Defence Forces on the 19th of August 2019. During his long and distinguished career, Brigadier General Berney served in a wide range of appointments, both at home and overseas.
A presentation and buffet to mark Brigadier General Berney’s retirement will be held in the Officers’ Mess, Cathal Brugha Barracks, on Wednesday, 31th July 2019 at 1600hrs. His many friends and colleagues in ARCOIreland will wish to be associated with this occasion.
