ARCOIreland regrets to inform its members of the death, on Saturday 3rd January 2015, of Lieutenant Colonel Billy O’Neill of Renmore, Galway and formerly of Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork. A member of the Galway Football Team which won the All-Ireland Senior Championship in 1956. Beloved husband of the late Mabel and much loved father of Dermot, Maeve and Brian. Sadly missed by his sons and daughter, brother Paddy, sister Sheila, son-in-law James, daughters-in-law Eavan and Marie, grandchildren, extended family and many friends.
Reposing at Áras Naofa within the grounds of the Church of St. Oliver Plunkett, Renmore on Tuesday 6th January from 4 p.m. with Removal to the Garrison Church, Dún Uí Mhaolíosa, at 6 p.m. Funeral to arrive at the Church of St. Oliver Plunkett, Renmore on Wednesday 7th January for Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. Interment following Mass in the New Cemetery, Bohermore.
