A memorial service to celebrate the life of the late Lieutenant Commander Gerry O’Donoghue, a member of the 51st Cadet Class and the 14th Naval Service Cadet Class, who died recently in Miami, Florida, will be held at the Naval Base, Haulbowline, on Saturday 28th October 2017.
Mass will be celebrated at the Naval Base Church at 11:00am, followed by a reception in the Officer’s Mess. Afterwards, and in keeping with his final wishes, Gerry will slip and proceed on his final patrol to the area of Ringabella Bay for a private service.
